Sales Engineer

Project Description


  • manage sales of Wear Parts Products made of tungsten carbide in Romania
  • generate sales revenue in line with Group targets & policy
  • visit and otherwise communicate with current and potential customers, build and maintain strong and long-term business relationships
  • manage all stages of the sales cycle (obtaining support where necessary)
  • communicating with customers on new products, product obsolescence, price changes and other relevant information
  • advising and training customers in the advantages and correct use of products
  • conducting technical trials and reporting upon the results
  • soliciting enquiries, ensuring where necessary these are clearly communicated and that the quotation is provided in a timely and professional manner
  • ensuring customer orders are correctly handled
  • resolving any customer complaints, invoice queries or payment issues
  • recording customer visits, contacts and activities
  • to fully participate in all sales meetings, technical and sales training sessions


  • technical engineering background with knowledge of Romanian industry
  • at least 3 years experience of technical sales in an engineering environment
  • smart person, fast, responsive, driven
  • willingness to travel
  • clean driving licence
  • very good level of English, German is a plus
